Most people can relate to observing a household problem and thinking they have the next big idea to fix it. HSN totally gets that – and we wanted to hear these ideas.
In March 2017, HSN hosted an exclusive product search in Chicago at the International Home + Housewares Show to find America’s next great product. The search not only built on HSN’s American Dreams initiative, but also highlighted the successful partnership with Good Housekeeping magazine in their combined efforts to find America’s next great entrepreneur with a new and unique product.
The panel selected to judge submissions from entrepreneurs across a wide range of categories included senior executives from HSN as well as entrepreneur Marc Portney, host of Science Channel’s All American Makers.
When it came down to judging, each entrepreneur had only three minutes to showcase his or her product during a two-hour block in front of a panel of retail, design, manufacturing and consumer technology specialists. The winning product had the amazing opportunity to appear on HSN, which broadcasts to over 92 million households.
